The Galaxy in a Dashboard: Visualizing the Milky Way using OmniSci

The Gaia space telescope has observed 1.7 billion stars in the Galaxy, creating a wealth of data about stars and their characteristics. In this session, we will use OmniSci Immerse to explore this dataset. We will draw insights about stars - where they are, what they look like, how they move - and the Milky Way galaxy at large, the place we call home.
