Real-time Financial Risk Management with OmniSci

The digitization of the world has brought us Big Data, but it’s fraught with challenges of speed and scale. GPU databases like OmniSci are uniquely positioned to solve these challenges. In this session, we’ll start with an introduction to OmniSci, followed by financial terms related to risk management, as well as the basics of Apache Spark. Then we’ll demo OmniSci on a financial risk management use case, bringing together an OmniSci Docker image, OmniSci CLI, OmniSci Immerse, Minikube/Kubernetes, Spark, Scala, and BlackSchole/Finite Difference.
